KEY REQUIREMENTS

Specialty Occupation
The job must require specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field.

Degree or Equivalent
The applicant must have a university degree or equivalent work experience.

Job Offer
Must have a job offer from a U.S. employer willing to sponsor the visa.

Labor Condition Application (LCA)
The employer must file an LCA with the Department of Labor, ensuring fair wage conditions.

 

BENEFITS

Allows legal employment in the U.S. for the sponsoring employer.

Initial validity of up to 3 years, renewable up to a maximum of 6 years.

Spouse and children under 21 can join under H-4 status.
